Photo & video portfolio sites

Your photographs deserve a place of their own.

FrameRoost gives nature, wildlife and travel photographers a fast, good-looking site for their best work — galleries, video, private sharing, posting to social media and your own domain, without wrestling a website builder.

Invite-only beta · free while it lasts
Butterfly Lane Photography, a FrameRoost site: a full-width hero photo under the site's logo and menu.
What you get

Everything a photographer's site needs. Nothing it doesn't.

No themes to fight, no plugins to update. Upload, pick your keepers, and share.

A gallery that gets out of the way

Feature your best work, pick hero images for your home page, and let visitors browse full-screen. Tag as you go; find anything by tag or year.

Video that plays everywhere

Upload straight from the camera. FrameRoost compresses each clip for smooth playback and keeps your original untouched.

Private galleries by link

Share a set with a client, a club or your family. Only people with the link can see it, and nothing shows up in your public gallery.

Your name on the door

Start at yourname.frameroost.photos, then connect your own domain with one DNS record. The certificate is taken care of.

Your look

Add your logo and pick your colors, and your whole site wears them, from the menu to the contact form.

A watermark that knows where to sit

Your logo or a line of text, in any corner or tiled across the frame. Choose Smart and each photo gets its calmest corner. It’s built into the pixels, and a change updates every photo.

Share to Bluesky, Instagram and Facebook

Connect your accounts once, then post your photos to Bluesky, Instagram and your Facebook Page together, watermark and all.

Locations stay secret

Every copy visitors see has its camera metadata removed, GPS included, so a nest, a den or a quiet overlook never ends up on a map. Your original keeps everything, stored privately.

Not for AI training

Every site tells AI crawlers your work is off limits, in robots.txt, the W3C TDM reservation, noai tags and a notice inside each photo. Search engines still find you. And we’ll never train AI on your work ourselves.

Coming soon to Samsung TVs

Your galleries on the big screen.

Connect your Samsung TV with a code, then browse any private gallery with the remote — or start a slideshow and let your living room become a photo frame. New photos you add show up on their own.

Who it's for

Built for people who shoot for the love of it.

Serious hobbyists

You've got years of keepers from the marsh, the mountains and the road — and nowhere good to show them.

  • A home for your best work, not a social feed
  • Room for full-resolution files and video
  • Private galleries for trips and family

Camera clubs

Give your club a proper home for outings, competitions and members' work.

  • Tag by outing, theme or member
  • Private galleries for judging or members-only sets
  • Several people can help run the site
How the beta works

Three steps to your own site.

  1. Ask to join

Tell us a little about what you photograph. We're letting people in in small groups.

  2. Create your site

Your invite links to signup. Pick your address, confirm your email, and you're in.

  3. Upload and share

Add photos and video, feature your favorites, and send people the link. Tell us what to improve.

Be one of the first.

FrameRoost is free until at least December 31, 2026, and beta testers get 25% off the first year after that. In return, we'd love your honest feedback on what works and what doesn't.
